Holidays in Merano and Environs

Between untouched mountains and vibrant cities
"Observe nature. Dream with open eyes.
The mountain giants, the spa town, the palm trees, the starry sky, the wilderness ..."

In front of the Waldhof several hiking trails wind their way through the Merano basin to high altitudes. On both sides of the valley there is a cable car waiting for you: at one end the Texel panoramic cable car that takes you to Giggelberg Mountain (1544 m), at the other end the Aschbach cable car taking you to Monte Tramontana Mountain (1350 m). Pedal for 5 minutes and you‘ll be in the middle of a dreamy biking paradise.

Can you smell the sweet scent of Dolce Vita blending with the Alpine atmosphere?
Lively cities alternate with mountain villages. Dense forests and alpine flora mingle with exotic palms and Mediterranean vegetation. Italian dishes surprise the palate with South Tyrolean flavor notes, and vice versa.

Contrasts that you can see, hear, taste and feel. Contrasts that harmonize perfectly with each other, creating an unmistakable holiday experience. Enjoy your vacation in the Merano region.
